I am glad to welcome the organizers, participants and guests of the International Tourism Forum in Sochi SIFT 2017.
In recent years, the Russian tourist market is undergoing serious changes related to the growth of inbound and domestic tourism. In response to the growing consumer demand, tour operators together with the regions actively form "package" tours around the Russian Federation, which from season to season become more and more interesting and diverse. It is worth noting the development of new directions, such as event, sports, gastronomic tourism. The increased interest in various types of recreation in Russia requires from the business community a more professional and responsible approach to the services provided.
In these conditions, the dialogue between the representatives of the industry becomes extremely topical. International Tourism Forum in Sochi SIFT serves as a platform for the integration of opinions and numerous discussions of its participants on the prospects and formats for the development of the Russian tourist market in a new situation. It annually brings together representatives of regional executive bodies in the field of tourism, tour operators and travel agents, leaders of the hotel, transport and insurance business and other interested parties.
The SIFT forum has proved itself not only as an effective discussion platform and a field for the exchange of experience, but also as a tool for developing business cooperation. Solving industry-wide issues, its participants contribute to the achievement of the strategic goal of realizing the tourist potential of the Russian Federation in the interests of sustainable social and economic development of regions and improving the quality of life of Russians.

On behalf of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory I greet you at the International Tourism Forum SIFT!
Our region is rightly considered the "main health resort of Russia" and is the center of attraction for tourists from all over the country, near and far abroad. Only since the beginning of this year, the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory have received over 14.9 million tourists. Over the past three years, the tourist flow has grown by more than a third.
Kuban has achieved such results, first of all, thanks to direct participation in the work to improve the level of comfort and quality of services for representatives of the enterprises of the resort's sanatorium and tourist complex. This allowed the region to become the leading position in Russia in the classification of accommodation facilities, to become one of the best in the country - on the voluntary classification of beaches and the first in the world - to standardize the highest quality services.
The administration of the region is in constant constructive dialogue with the business of the resort industry. Such an effective discussion platform, such as the International Tourism Forum SIFT, allows not only to discuss in a comprehensive way the prospects for the development of the tourism industry in Russia, but also will exchange experience in implementing successful projects, and strengthen business cooperation.

On behalf of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RUTI), the largest business association in the industry of tourism and hospitality of Russia and the profile committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, I am happy to welcome the organizers, participants and guests of the International Tourism Forum in Sochi SIFT 2017.
Today Sochi is the most modern and well-equipped multifunctional year-round resort on the territory of Russia. This is a huge complex of renovated and newly constructed facilities for sanatorium-resort and hotel-restaurant complexes, which makes it possible to conduct large-scale business events in the city for domestic and incoming tourism in Russia.
This year, for the first time in Sochi, there are two major events that unite the professionals of the tourism industry of Russia - the II All-Russian Congress of Tour Operators and the International Tourism Forum SIFT 2017.

November 23-24, 2017 in Sochi, the International Media Forum hosted the International Tourism Forum SIFT, which has become one of the most important business sites for domestic and incoming tourism in Russia.
The organizers of the Forum are the Federal Agency for Tourism, the Administration of the Krasnodar Territory, the Administration of Sochi. The forum was held with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory, the Russian Union of Travel Industry, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Krasnodar Region, the Sochi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the forum the XXIV International Tourism Exhibition "Resorts and Tourism. Season 2017-2018 ", XVIII International Specialized Exhibition" Hotel and Restaurant Business-2017 ", Congress" Key strategic directions of development, technology and service in domestic and incoming tourism ", as well as familiarization and educational tours for the objects of resort and business Sochi.
Over two days of work, the event was attended by more than 3000 people. 260 companies from Russia, Belarus, Abkhazia took part in the exhibitions, the exhibition area was net 2000 square meters. m., gross - more than 7000 square meters.
The start of the dialogue between the tourist industry and the authorities was given at a business breakfast on behalf of the Head of Sochi city Anatoly Pakhomov with the participation of the Head of Administration (Governor) of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratiev, the head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Oleg Safonov, as well as the largest Russian tour operators and representatives of resort towns and tourist destinations from different regions of Russia. Forum participants shared their experience and discussed the interaction of travel agencies with Russian resorts.
On November 23, the solemn opening ceremony of the forum was attended by the Head of Rosturism Oleg Safonov, the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratiev and the Head of the Sochi city resort Anatoly Pakhomov.

Discussion of the most important issues of creating a quality tourism product, improving the tourist infrastructure, improving the quality of services and services, as well as making constructive proposals from the business community, which are accepted for consideration by government bodies, is a necessary tool for ensuring the satisfaction of tourists and comfortable work of travel companies. The congress program of the forum was opened by the plenary session "Resort season 2017. Results and prospects", in which Governor of the Krasnodar region Veniamin Kondratiev, Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Oleg Safonov, Head of the Sochi Administration Anatoly Pakhomov, Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory delivered a speech. Christopher Konstantinidi, vice president of the Russian Union of Industry (PCT) Yuri Barzykin, first deputy minister of resorts and tourism of the Republic of Crimea Igor Kotlyar.
This year, all events of the congress program attracted equal interest among the specialists, including such topical issues as new approaches in the practice of spa treatment, spa and wellness industry, changes in legislation and training for the tourist industry, new about the work of the online ticket office , service in the field of hospitality and training seminars and presentations.
The Forum hosted the FIFA World Cup Cup in the framework of the FIFA ™ World Cup in Sochi, during which all the guests of the Forum could be photographed with the main trophy of the world football, and the panel session "FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia" with the participation of representatives of the Organizing Committee of the championship, profile departments and host cities.
